This resort is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All rooms have spacious balconies that look out onto the Gulf of Mexico. Easy walk to Time Square in Ft Myers Beach. Hope to return in 2010.

I have been coming here every year since I was 4 years old. I am 28 now and take my own family there. We own a summer week there. It is clean, spacious, and a perfect setting for family fun or relaxing. The beach out front is private and not crowded at all- unlike the awful public beaches.

The location is fantastic! Easy beach walk to the pier, Time Square & shopping area (.6 miles) or turn right & your at the tip of the Island where there is a lovely Park with trails, concession.

I LIKE STAYING AT WINDWARD PASSAGE BECAUSE IT IS SLIGHTLY OUT OF THE WAY OF ALL OF THE COMMOTION OF FT. MEYERS BEACH AND YET I CAN WALK TO ANYTHING I WANT TO DO THERE.

We loved the location and the resort, it was very clean,inviting and well managed. Pool was quiet as well as the resort itself. Stay 7 days and enjoyed each day and the sunsets nightly.

We own weeks at Windward Passage, and go back every year for the 4th of July. It's easy access on & off the beach due to it's location. You can walk to everything, shopping, restaurants, etc. Only thing you'd need a car for is to/from airport, or other sight seeing ventures. I recommend vacationing here.
