Spent two nights in Dec 2006 as I had business in Detroit MI & elected to stay on Canadian side of border where I felt much safer. Room was clean & comfortable. I found ladies at front desk very friendly and heplful reccomending off site restaurants in Windsor. Easy walking to casino and numerous bars & clubs. When business brings me back to Detroit I will stay at the Quality Suites again.
Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good value for being right downtown. Parking at the hotel is $10 per day, but there's a coin lot across the street for $3 per day. Bubi's for dinner 3 blocks south is very good, and Helenic Subs 1 block south for lunch was very good too! Overall we were very pleased with our weekend stay. Don't forget to buy ketchup if you're in Canada, it's better there.
No restaurant even though is says it has one.If a place says it has a restaurant on site it should .I like to go down to a nice restaurant to eat.what bothers me is that internet site said it has a rest.If QUALITY SUITES had a nice restaurant I would reconsider....no one likes to have to leave building to go somewhere else to eat or I would of booked at there.
Nice place to stay if you dont want to stay right at the casino windsor hotel and save some on your room. Its only a fifteen minute walk to the casino or they have a shuttle to take you there. Many places to eat and night life places on your walk to casino. Our room was sort of small but it was up to date and very clean.
A Friend of mine and I went here. We arrived on a friday afternoon for a two night stay. We had a room with two double beds along with another room with a couch, chair and T.V. The couch also made into a bed for a third person. Has we were checking our room out when we arrived we thought it was really cool you could see the Casino from our room. ...
We thought it was a deal. It was blocks from my husbands eye clinic, he was having Lasik Eye Surgery. The picture in the ad was taken when it was new, maybe 15 years ago. The walls, floor, blankets, tables, couches were less than average. It was dirty.
I first stayed at this Hotel in July 2005 during Canada Day with a small group of friends. Hotel staff were all quite friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. For the price of the room it is well worth it in my opinion. It is also right in town and near many attractions, including the Casino. I plan on returning to this hotel on my next visit to Windsor. Another bonus of this hotel is the onsite resturant (North of the Border).
The service there was horrible.. Me and my son were watching the way the front ladies at the front desk were talking to everyone and we were apualed. Then we didnt get our wake up call in the morning. We will never go back to that hotel and I am personally making sure everyone knows how bad the service was..
The central heating and A/C system is noisy and there is no pool. However, the room is clean and the staff is friendly. I would recommend it especially if you have family.
