This place has noisy pipes. During the day, it is annoying, but at night, they woke me several times.
I called and complained to the front desk and they said that was the way it was.

Was attracted by low price. Boy, am I dumb. Front desk 'service' was horrible. I am hard to offend (I am in sales), but they offended me. Slow about getting my reservation, credit card and information. Took 35 minutes to check in. No one else around, either.

Really bad service ruined an otherwise ok alternative to the much more expensive hotels in the area.
The front desk clerk was rude and unprofessional. He gave us card-keys that did not work. When we returned, he blamed us for ruining the keys on purpose because there was no possible way he could have made a mistake. incredible....

Rude front desk attendant. He was too busy to help us for 20 minutes. Misplaced our reservations.
Gave us a room that maids did not clean yet. Blamed us for wrecking room. ridiculous.
Finally gave us another room.
Go elsewhere. save the headache.

Front desk employees have bad attitude and plumbing is in need of repairs. Rooms were bigger than average but you also end up paying more for the space anyways. Not worth money and can get better service.

Hotel needs to seriously look into building basic customer serivce skills. I will never return to hotel and will inform all of my family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or anyone around me not to stay at this hotel.

They don't use horrible cleaning/deodorizing stuff in the rooms, that is good for us allergy sufferers. Friendly staff, nice rooms. The hotel is located right next to my Company's Santa Clara facility, very convenient! Lan was down most of the time during my most recent stay.
I have stayed at the Woodcrest several times and really enjoyed it. Nice rooms, great morning buffet, and 24 hr make-your-own sandwiches and snacks in the dining room made my crazy late hour schedule quite nice.
Quick 280 freeway access and proximity to the heart of Cupertino's high tech zone are major pluses.

They have a great staff - very helpful and courteous. The free continental breakfast was great, something different every day. Fresh fruit and good coffee along with good bacon and eggs. The room was a bit dingy with old beat up furniture and worn carpet. If the staff hadn't gone the extra mile it would have been a very poor stay. VCR movie rental was neat - watched one. Free drink in the evening, very nice bartender.
