Ok so I bought my ticket to FL to surprise my BF. I didn't know what hotel to get since I've never been to the Tampa area. He lives near so I thought I would leave the desicion to him. He chose Econo Lodge. So knowing me I would came here. Yahoo Review. And it scared the crap out of me. It said it was in a bad neighborhood and strip bars ...

we checked in at 2:00 and left at 2:10.
The room had not been cleaned(dirty cups, rug not vacuumed) Dirty bedding. No pillow cases. Bathroom to dirty to explain.
Erotica and Nudey locations next door. The room reeked with an undefinable odor. Looked like the room should be rented by the hour.
2 miles up the road are clean hotels for the same price.

It's very reasonable. If you don't mind the cockroaches. And a less than clean room. On the plus side, they do have bananas for breakfast, and it's within a block of two strip clubs.

It was nice and good area. All kinds of stores were near by the hotel. There were a lot of walking distance restaurants there. Additionally, they had a free transportation to the airport, and it was so convienent. Hotel staff was really friendly. Especially, front desk and housekeeping. Room were nice and clean. They had a cable tv, too. ...

The room was comfortable. It was close to the Tampa airport, which we were interested in. The location was near restaurants. The service was great. We liked the morning breakfast.
