REST IN A LUXURY WAYBeautiful surroundings, clean, romantic, luxury. Smiling staff. Excellent spa and fitness center. Very clean swimming pools (indoors and outdoors). Activities all day round and night entertaiment as well. We wish to be there again. We recomment the hotel to our friends.
Sometimes the door bell at the bar entrance, was not working properly.OVERALL

All in all a good holidayThis hotel is excellent, we did not have a sea facing room but were on a higher floor where you did not see the car park but the road and shops opposite, mountains in the background. Can't wait to go back - FOR THE 16TH timeWe adore this hotel and the position it is in. We have been in the summer and the winter and always have a wonderful holiday.We were disappointed we were unable to walk into the Paphos along the edge of the sea as the path was closed - lots of improvements being made-the walk will be super when the work is completed.

No air conditioning in winterWe arrived late Saturday night to a hot room. Air conditioning ran hot and we were told it is not switched on until 'summer'(April onwards). So had to switch it off and open double patio doors instead (two sets, presumably because of noise). We had a standard room which looked onto carpark. Hope to returnA very clean hotel. Godd food, especially the breakfast. Close to harbour and a short bus ride to the market. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Trips were arranged to various parts of the Island including Kyrenia.

Going AgainAfter reading these reviews decided to book. It was a good decision the hotel was lovely the best I have stayed in abroad. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. We went on a b&b basis but paid to go into the restaurant a couple of times. relaxevousWe had a truely relaxing, hot sunny holiday in Mid November. It was lovely and quiet there since all the kids were at school and consequently the service was excellent because the staff had plenty of time available. good hotel but!This is a good quality hotel the staff good the position great.Bar prices a bit steep but overall good hotel.I had one complaint and it is a big one! Eating out near the AlexanderThe hotel really is excellent and cannot be faulted - although the food is excellent its nice to get out and eat. There are many first class establishments but Porto Bella (about 6/7 mins walk from the hotel towards the harbour) stands out - excellent food - excellent service and really good value for money.13 of 13 Yahoo! Best Holiday (Again)Came here in June 2005 on a package with Cyplon and was very impressed (we had a side-sea room where you could, in truth, just see the sea. Liked it so much that have come back in 2006, just booked direct with the hotel (and got a reasonable diswcount). Booked with BA (during a sale period). Hotel arranged for a taxi to pick up us at the airport. With a sea facing room we're playing less than we did last year for more!6 of 6 Yahoo!
