I was searching around for an affordable place to stay when suddenly i stumbled upon Fantasea......not knowing what to expect, i made the reservation and showed up at the appropriate time.....To my surprise, this place was "not bad at all".....service was OK, view was breath-taking, room was just alright......Would i stay at the Fantasea resort again? I say sure !

Had a studio room, half the lights in the room did not function, the heat/air was a disaster, you have to open a little door and reach half your arm into the wall and if you do that you then have to guess which way to turn the thermostat to adjust temp, I found this totally unacceptable. The FantaSea Resort was actually surprisingly pleasant. The room was large and roomy. The overall look and atmosphere was good. The Staff was very nice and quick.

The only bad thing that I can say about the hotel is that the wait for the elevator seemed to be very long at times. The room was very nice, the pool small but just big enough. The woman who checked us in was rude but for the most part the staff was very warm and very helpful. They couldn't do enough for us.

Avoid the time share sales pitch. The place has a good location right on the boardwalk. The view is great. The rooms are cheesy and outdated.
