Rooms were loud (hallway noises), overall hotel marginal, Front Desk not helpful (Dave) and overpriced. Requested room on top floor 2 months in advance given a ground floor room.

no pool, small fitness room ,on-going constuction , and weak wire-less internet makes this a one time visit service was great , had a small problem with the t.v and the night maintenance was very helpful and fixed the problem

This was our first visit to Asheville so we just chose a hotel online. The location isn't very convenient to downtown, we would have chosen a place within walking distance to all the shops. Also the hotel advertised a pool but it was demolished and under constuction. This hotel is overpriced for what you get! Keep looking around for a place more convenient hotel that offers a lot more.

I attended a conference at this hotel. The meeting space for a large group was tight. As a wheelchair user the ramp in the lobby was a bit too steep, and as a smoker the choice of rooms was very limited (only 5, not accessible).

The employees at the DoubleTree are truly exceptional. I have never written a review before but the Front Desk workers were kind, courteous and accommodating...even my teenager noticed.

Very near the entrance to the Biltmore and only a couple of miles from all the shopping anyone could ever want to do makes this a great place to stay with your family.
