There were only 2 friendly staff members in the whole hotel. The receptionist was nice, and the gentleman who ran the resturaunt for breakfast and lunch.

When we got there it was 4:30 am and check in was at 2:00pm, but we were able to get our room plus an upgrade we were so excited our room was great and the view was wonderful, we will return in 2009 for our summer vacation

all the staff except for the late night REDHEADED receptionest was extremely helpful and very professional resturant great food rooms nice and well cared for will stay there again in october and febuary for bike weeks 2010 WON;T LET ONE UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON DEMEAN THE UNTIRE HOTEL STAFF BUT THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE FIRED BEFORE SHE CAUSES THE HOTEL TO LOSE MOORE CUSTOMERS OTHER THAN THE ONE EMPLOYEE I MENTIONED THIDS IS ONE FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY

The poolside cafe staff was great. Very personable. The place was very clean. A great deal for the price. Would definately go back.

*Church trip gone wrong.* Was upset with them taking money out of our account without permission or explanation. We did get them "finally" the correct form that they needed and they did reimburse the money they took out. We are pleased with that but will not return to this hotel.

Have stayed at the Tropical Winds on several occasions but was very disappointed with our recent stay. Concerns were taken to the hotel and were never addressed. The room was in bad shape with beat-up walls and sub-par maintenance. The door as well as the bathroom door appeared to have been broken down at some point and not properly repaired. ...

This place was great. The location was a little ways from the heart of Daytona, but it was nice. You didnt have to fight for a spot on the beach!! And you have to eat at the hotel to. The guys at run the kitchen are fantastic!!
