I was very disappointed with the quality of this hotel after the amount I wa charged to stay here. The room had marks on the wall. I had billing errors and the rooms also smelled musty. I would recommend staying at an actual Disney hotel for the price. The location and pool were great, but they didn't make up for the room.

Stay somewhere else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
We have been here the last two years for a convention(July 2006 and 2007) and it has not gotten any better. Check-in is slow, staff does not respond to complaints or problem. The worst thing is the rooms. Both years ours have been old-looking--peeling paint, outdated fixtures, holes in curtains. The rooms smell musty and moldy. The air-conditioning ...

Honeymoon was GREAT!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/07
This was the first time that we stayed on Disney grounds and it was amazing. This hotel had it all great bars and great food but that is not the best part. It is walking distance from Epcot and MGM. You would prob. want to take the boat to MGM since it is a bit farther. The bed was fantastic, the room was always clean and we had more towels then we ...

Little for your money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
Other than proximity to the various parks and ease of getting to and from the parks this is not worth the cost. Rooms were outdated, humid/musty and very small.I had a roach in my room, gross! Hallways were the same. As a business traveler who is often at Disney for shows we will not stay in this, or the swan, again!

Wonderfully Brillant!

Last time I went to the Swan Dolphin (2005) and walked in, I felt like I was in heaven. The lobby is beautiful with a fantastic piano player who plays requested songs. Thats not even half of it, The elevators were great and not slow at all. The rooms were gorgious and well designed. In my opion the best place in the hotel to relax without much ...

Love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/23/07
I have been to this resort four times so far and I have loved it every time. The lobby of the Dolphin is simply amazing, in one part the ceiling looks like a night sky (complete with shooting stars!) and there are waterfalls on the walls, it is just breathtaking. On the other part, it looks like you are in a giant hot air balloon. Both the Swan and ...
Looks like I'm in the minority here, but was expecting SO much more for the money.
PROS: very soft, comfortable bed. Great location with fantastic transporation options to the parks. Nice pools.
CONS: Price, parking fee for guests (that is stupid!), snobby staff. Our room was lousy - had a view of the dumpsters and listened to ...

Worst experience ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/07
The hotel staff, particularly the restaurants are newbies--not to the restaurant themselves but to the business. All green--inattentive, don't know menus, etc... Same goes for the hotel staff. Perhaps my expectations were too high going in but I have stayed at cheaper resorts/hotels that have provided a better overall experience.
On my trip to Disney World, any little kid's dream, I'd have to say one of the best parts was the hotel. I stayed at the Disney World Dolphin. They have two or three huge pools, which are heated surprisingly well by the sun during the day. Not to mention, they have every kind of restaurant imaginable within walking distance. Their rooms, ...

Nice Hotel When All Goes Well...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/06
In summary we were kept up from 11:30 PM to 5:30 AM by workmen on a room two doors down from us. Despite 3 calls to the hotel manager during the night the speed of resolution and compensation were disgusting.
