Very good diner, not much to look at but that doesn't matter when the food is this good. Ten different kinds of burgers. Our party tried three - all were great as were the fries. Tasty tilapia fish sandwich; good breakfasts. Owner and local customers were friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Wilmington/West Dover area.OVERALL

This diner makes the best fish sandwich in the valley!
I've been coming to the Valley Diner for a couple of years, and the service and food have been consistently good. It's a big plus that the owners do the cooking and service, and it's easy to see the pride they take in serving up tasty dishes.

This is a small diner that one would normally tend to just drive past and not think to stop, that is a mistake. Recently on a motorcycle ride in the West Dover, Vermont area I passed this diner and then turned and went back.
