The staff is exceptional- went out of their way with sincerity- Location is perfect- plenty to see and do- Rooms are very large, beautiful and comfortable-great view of cobblestone street off our balcony- very luxurious- this was our 1st visit to Richmond & the Berkeley made us ready to plan a return trip- will definitely be back.

I have stayed at The Berkeley Hotel twice. Located in the heart of Shockoe Slip makes for a very enjoyable stay while in Richmond.

The hotel is very elegant and the rooms are well appointed. I wish they had a mini-fridge in the room. In-room breakfast was excellent although NOT cheap. Bed turn down service was great.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
