Great location near highways, but not to close to be noisy. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Hotel was clean, modern secure and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly arranged and accessorized for the business traveler. The continental breakfast was fresh and clean with a wide variety of choices. I will definitely make a return visit when in the area again.

While staying at the Hampton Inn North in Florence, SC recently our room was entered by someone using a pass key and my wife had a camera and jewelry taken out of her closed luggage. We didn't discover the theft until several days later.

Unfortunately this is the first time such a thing has happened to us. While this can happen anytime and in any hotel/motel, it does raise our concern about the integrity of the staff at this facility.

My family and I broke down on our way to Disney. Regina and the other Staff at the Florence Hampton Inn were AWESOME, treating us as family instead of just guests. They helped us out, made us comfortable and assisted in getting us back on our way. As a regualr Business traveler I must say I felt so welcomed they I would recommend them to any tired traveler.

We checked in late at after midnight after traveling 10 hours. The next morning I went to take a shower and their was no shower curtain. When I went to call the front desk, the telephone did not work. Given the fact that we had to get on back on the road, my family was not able to shower. Staff was helpful and informative as to the surrounding area.

PERSON AT FRONT DESK AT CHECK IN WAS NOT VERY PLEASANT OR COURTEOUS AND WAS VERY NEGATIVE ABOUT THE CITY OF FLORENCE SC. ALL THE OTHERS THERE WERE ATTENTIVE AND POLITE.
