Not sure why this is called comfort inn smith mountain lake as it is nowhere near the lake it is near the highway in rocky mount. our room smelled of smoke and lysol and was dirty. i slept with one eye open. not a very nice place to stay.

Several members of our family and some friends stayed at the Comfort Inn for 4 days/3nights while visiting to attend my nephews wedding.

The place was as clean as anything you would find elswhere. Friendly, hardworking staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn with my daughter and did not find the place to be clean, at all. I did not feel safe either.

Next time I will stay at the Bed and Breafast in the historic district. The price is about the same (with discount) and you get a full hot breakfast and a much nicer atmosphere.

I loved the service. Micki is GREAT!!!! Need more people like her. She was very helpful in getting me what I needed and when I needed it with no waiting. I would definately recomment it to others.
