We recently went to Seaside for a basketball tournament. The Shilo Inn was happy to take $200 dollars a day for a room, but they're customer service towards those with children was disgusting! If a child tried to go back to their room alone to grab something forgotton or to go rest, they were nabbed by a security guard, or worse, a police ...

I go at least once a year and the location is second to none. The food is great and do not miss the prime rib. Every time I call they give me a discount and I understand it is expensive but you will not want to stay at any other hotel at Seaside once you stay here.

My boyfriend left behind an expensive watch that I had just purchased for him at Christmas time.. I called the hotel the same day and was told "if they found it" they would send it to us.... How dare! I know that it was on top of the entertainment center.

I liked the Shilo Inn because it had great room service and it was a good location for my kids and I. We could walk EVERYWHERE...like to the beach and all of the stores, I LOVED IT!

Great location to shops, restaraunts, beach. It was a little more than I wanted to spend. For that price, they should throw in the dinner!

We thought the location of this hotel was great. Pet friendly with a restaurant and pool overlooking the ocean. When we got to our Ocean front view room it looked nice. When we went out on the balcony all we could hear was the loud humming ventalation system of the amenities below. We decided we would like to be able to hear the ocean instead so we switched hotels.

the best full ocean view and excellent and friendly employees. everything is great. Wish check in time could be earlier.

Positives: Beautiful view, nice restuarant with excellent view, food and service; pool is open 24 hours.
Negs: A little pricy, no discount program for returning guests.
