So I thought I'd take the family to Cleveland to visit the Rock HOF and a few other places. Since I also stay at Embassy Suites when travelling on work I thought that all Embassy Suites would be the same - both look and service wise. I WAS WRONG. If you are expecting the regular Embassy Suites model then you are in a for a big surprise. First ...
We stayed at this hotel during a church convention in 7/07. When we arrived at check-in time, we were told our room wasn't ready. We had to wait about an hour and a half for our room. When we finally got to our room after 8 hours of traveling, we wanted to shower. There were no towels in the room. I told an employee in the hallway and he ...

Good and getting better

As of August of '06, the hotel is in the middle of remodeling, starting on the lower floors and working up.
New rooms: excellent! Older rooms: safe and adequate. When booking, specify a new room... and ask again at check-in. Roll-away beds (for a 3rd person in each suite): just put the mattress on the floor, you'll sleep ...

great service, lousy room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/06
The staff is great. Almost everyone we encountered, the valet, desk clerk, and wait staff in the restaurant exceeded our expectations. I wasn't too happy with the housekeeping that ignored our "do not disturb" sign and banged on our door an hour before check out to see what time we would be checking out. The security guard didn't ...

Nice Weekend in Cleveland
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/05
Stayed at Embassy Suites in Cleveland the First Weekend in Dec. 2005. Value of Hotel was nice. Good Cook to order Breakfest each morning, Evening Drinks, and very nice staff. Also offered Shuttle to local places around town. Snowed all weekend so walking was tough. Food in Restaurant also was good. Had a little market right next door that was open until 8pm. "Good Value."

Wonderful Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/08/05
Nice big clean rooms with seprate living room and dinning room free dinks at night and breakfast. I would stay there evrytime I come to Cleveland.
The hotel is in a great location. The value was good. 2 hours of drinks every night and breakfast every morning included with every room. We will be going back soon!
I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Cleveland on a bus with some students from my college. Embassy Suites Hotel wasn't really what I expected, at least when I walked in the building it wasn't. When you walk in the front doors all you see are two elevators and I believe a desk with a worker behind it, probably there to direct people ...

Nicer than I thought
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/05
I won a free stay here at a bridal fair which we used on our wedding night. It was nicer than I thought - a small suite with a small living room, bedroom and bath. Everything was very clean and it was nice, dark wood. We had a very nice stay, it was quiet and the view from our windows was nice as well.

average hotel, attentive service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/05
We booked a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame package, which seemed to be a pretty good deal. Every staff member we came in contact with, from the bellhop to the bartender to the fitness center superviosr gave very friendly service. We certainly appreciated the free happy hour and breakfast. It was a quick walk to the Hall of Fame. Our biggest coplaints ...
