The Holiday Inn St. Germain is located on a small side street close to the Montparnasse tower. My brother and I stayed here for 3 nights while in Paris. We chose this hotel because our French is not very good and we trust the American hotel brand.
Coming in from CDG we took the RER B train to the Gare du Nord station and connected to the #4 ...

Although this is a standard Holiday Inn, the staff and the location were superb. Even with my fractured French they were very nice. Great location! (not too touristy)lots of nice cafes and trendy shops around. Close to stations, so easy to get to main paris attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were small but clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice. I would definately stay there again.

It's also within medium walking distance to the Louvre, the Latin Quarter, and Notre Dame. The staff was exceptional and all spoke English, as well as Spanish to my wife's ...

A Bright Spot in the City of Lights.
