We loved the food, the gorgeous views, and the friendliness and dedication of the staff. We hiked and saw the sights, but our favorite pastime was rocking in the rocking chairs on the porch with a glass of local wine. The food was on the expensive side, but worth it. It's been a long time since we had such amazing meals- even the picnic lunch they packed for us was great. We're booking NOW for another weekend retreat!

I have been going there for over 17years and it's lovely. It's a county inn with beautiful but simple furnishing. The breakfast is terrific. The gardens are wonderful in the late spring and early summer.
They have recently changed owners and I can't wait to go back and see how they are doing.
