  • Great Choice for Budget Skiers
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/09
Hotel was extremely clean and staff was very knowledgable about local area. Continental breakfast was super. Highly recommend to all families that are skiing Wolf Creek. All the large hotels need to take lessons from this family owned business. We look forward to future stays

I wanted to book a I special trip for my husband and I during holidays, and I was looking for room with extra ammenities like hot tub or fireplace. We chose the Alpine Inn, they have suites with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs and even a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. What a treat! We enjoyed the room tremendously, Pagosa had a lot of snow ...

  • Very good for the price!
    By TT, 10/20/08
Was looking for something cheaper and located near (old) town and this place was perfect. Lots of stores near and the staff (I believe he was the owner) was great. Very handicap friendly for my Father. For a good price and a 2-3 day stay, this place did the trick very well.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms clean.
I did not eat the continental breakfast, but it looked standard (fresh fruits, cereals, coffee, juice, etc.)
If you're looking for a basic room with bed and shower (though a little ragged in places, e.g. vinyl on bath floor was worn) this is a great value. Paid $55 with AARP discount.

  • A no frills, budget stay
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
If you are looking to stay overnight somewhere and don't want to spend a lot of money, this hotel will do. The room was adequate. Unless you are a free spirit, I wouldn't recommend planning to use the hot tub because it is located right next to the front door and surrounded by glass. If you don't mind eveyone seeing you soak as they ...

  • Basic Value

The previous review was pretty much on target. Breakfast consists of cereal, English muffins, juice and coffee. True, it does have a hot tub and a small eating area. Rooms are somewhat small as well.

For the bucks, it's a good one or two night stay.

Fair rates- good value-basic services- friendly staff- Needs to be refurbished; however rooms are accomodating. Breakfast area is too small as well as the hot tub room.
However, it is still a great value for a good nights sleep.
We would stay there again when in Pagosa.
