Where to begin?

The service....horrible.

The staff....incredibly rude. At times it felt like they forgot I was a paying customer.

The food....Cuisine? Hardly.

The rooms....Not the Ritz by any means. The location was nice, but outside of the winter months it is in the middle of NOWHERE. Nearly an hour from Lucerne.

If you like rudeness and solidarity, this is the place for you!

I was backpacking through Europe and I came upon Engelberg! I loved it! I loved the hotel! I had been staying in hostels and such and this hotel was like heaven on earth! The views are amazing and they washed and dryed all my clothes for just 10 euros! The staff was great! If I ever go back, this is were I would stay!

My husband and I went there last year in December and it was just fantastic.The hotel and the crew were amazing and the town is just Unbelievable.
It's Easily a walking distance to reach the ski area from the hotel and every this is so nice and BEAUTIFUL.
