Rooms are ok but don't bother with the lounge! Very expensive, weak, drinks..( I think they water down their booze) If you can get a drink at all!!! The bartender spent more time playing her Keno numbers than waiting on guests. Hire sombody who wants to make you some money!!!

I agree the food is good and they do have a great place to hold a wedding or get-together of any size. However, the people in the office are not the most friendly or the most organized. The Staff was excellent! The Buffet was incrediable! Their reception hall is beautiful! Made our trip a great experiance! Thanks to all the staff (especially Amber) for going above and beyond and making the wedding a memorable event for all!

I think the Bad Axe Frankin Inn is the best motel to stay at if are you in Bad Axe.The food there was great and the buffet was grand.
The housekeeping staff was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and they smelled great.If I had to rate the motel from 1 to 10 I would give it a 10,Or the best motel ever.If you were in the area I would recommend this motel to any one staying in the area.

The rooms are dirty. The food is overpriced and bad. The staff is rude and ignorant. Need I say more??? Dont waste your time or money on this place!! There's a Holiday Inn down the street!

ok... so this is a small town in the thumb! Service and staff need to learn somthing from the city! Rooms smell like they are trying to cover somthing up not clean. Half of the Rooms are very new, the other half are designated smoking rooms...thank goodness I don't smoke. Smokers stink up the place.
But the rooms are nice, the staff is small town chic, and the other amenities like the restaurant, banquet hall and lounge are very fancy for the small town of Bad Axe. Best thing in the THUMB!

This was a very nice place to stay. The staff was nice and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who was staying in Bad Axe. Very organized and clean atmosphere.

The room I was in had an odor, it was like some kind of air freshner. I'm not big on that kind of stuff, I don't use it in my home and don't care to smell it at a hotel that I'm sleeping at.
