I'd stay there againThe rooms were spacious and clean. They provided coffee makers, a mini-fridge and free wireless Internet Access!
The front desk staff were extremely helpful and were able to provide menus for many of the local restaurants. There are lots of restaurants and stores, including a supermarket, within walking distance.

Good surpriseIn Summer when every hotel accomodation in Alaska at least doubles, I chose Eagle River Motel, at Eagle River, which is about 15 minutes drive drom Anchorage, for it's reasonable price. Was surprised to see the rooms with lots of space, kitchenette, microwave, microfridge and best of all a complimentary breakfast which was not advertised. The ...5 of 5 Yahoo! What a nice place to lay your headThis hotel is very homey. After a 4 day drive through Canada and waiting on papers to go thru on our house, this was a wonderful place to sit back and relax. Great Hotel, Friendly People, Best RatesAs Military, our extended stay was great and the ownership did everything possible to make our long stay great. I would recomend this to any one that is coming to either the Anchorage area or Eagle River. Don't let the distance fool you, it is very close to all the sites. Great hotel, great area, great people!Having been transfered up here to AK for the military I was basically homeless until I could find a house or other arrangments. Gary (the owner) was happy to provide me with a great room and great service for the entire duration of my stay! Our room was very large and had a stove/microwave/and microfridge!
