My experience at the Haddon Hall was a diaster. Me and my friends came early hoping to check in, that absolutely didn't happen. There was no early check in, and everyone that was waiting to check in were sleep in the lobby. It was very old and a dirty. The toilet at the restaurant down the street was cleaning. Don't give this hotel a chance!!

a nightmare experience

it is a very nasty hotel. the room is very very dirty. the bed is dirty. the towels have hair and stains on them. air condition is old fashioned (mounted on wall), very dirty and loud. you have to be very careful with toilet. otherwise, it floods. the personels are totally not professional, rude and unresponsive. i would give it a minus 2 stars if possible.

Seriously, I went as a college student on spring break. naturally, as you can imagine my standards for lodging were less than the average consumer. Even I, mr. bud light, passed-out-on-the-beach, need-a-place-to-hang-my-towel, was taken aback. First impressions are everthing right? it was late March and there was still a Christmas tree on full ...

Low on dough, give it a go!

When I first booked my stay with the Haddon Hall Hotel through a third party group called SpringBreakDirect.com, I thought I had made the best decision in my life. I went down to South Beach Miami for Spring Break 2006. Then I read the previous 7 reviews, and I became a little weary about the money I spent on the hotel.
Once my friends and I ...

Dirty, smelly & unsanitary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/06
The staff at Haddon Hall are simply unfriendly and not at all accomodating. There were no smiles or hellos as we checked in. Once we got into our hotel lobby we noticed unsanitary, old and stained carpets. The walls were stained and it just felt as if we were in a cheap run down motel. Once we got to our rooms we were assigned we noticed a do not ...
This was not my first stay at South Miami Beach. This is a bad hotel with one exception: its location - it is close to the beach and local restaurants. That's it. We did a check on this hotel as well as other hotels around 1500 block on Ocean drive. They all are really bad mismanaged places. So, we booked our stay with hotels.com at a ...

Pleasant stay

After reading some reviews, I was skeptical about this hotel. I had a great experience at Haddon Hall. The pool is beautiful, the staff were friendly and courteous. They didn't speak the best English which is why people may have found them stand-offish but they were nothing but gracious and pleasant.
