It's no holiday inn. This place is clean and quiet. It's a little old, but if all you want is a clean place to sleep jump on this one. If you want to stay inside all day and watch TV I guess go someplace else. But for me and my wife We will come again.

This is a motel, so I wasn't expecting the Ritz-Carlton. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Lots of clean towels. The bed sheets were clean and spotless--the beds were a little hard and slightly uncomfortable. The room was quiet; there is little traffic on E. We just love this place. In this day and age of frachise hotels the Surf is a great inexpensive place to stay. What it lacks in amenities of a newer facility it makes up for with character. We especially like the Surf two section for small groups with priacy and convienance.
