Very nice Hotel, clean, with soundproof rooms,20 yards from the beach.the only downside were the corrupt Tourist Police.
they were demanding 10 Dalasis from each boy selling wares on a long stretch of beach, at least 100 boys, then dividing the money and puting in their pockets, i watched this on a daily basis.

having to pay for sunbeds while staying there,other then that it was great great beach,,food very good,,,we are going again on 20th feb this year

85% of the people visiting the gambia return, and i for one will be one. spent two weeks out there and got back friday. i would go back tomorrow if i could. made lots of friends there and most of them being the staff! kebs and sarjo the waiters, chinaman and achum the entertainers. absoloutly loved it. i will miss "wakey wakey its water polo tiiiime"

The beach bums can be a bit of a nuisance, they have nothing to sell but will try & extract money from you with hard luck stories, it's up to you to develop a hard heart or sort out the genuine from the con artists.
