We went to Kombo Beach in December last year (2004) it was the best holiday we ever had and had a wondrful time. Yes ok there are bumsters on the beach but they can't get anywhere near you because of the security guys on the beach. I would recommend Kombo Beach to any couple wanting a relaxing romantic holiday. The staff are so friendly and the food was excellent!! We've just booked again for this December.

I stayed in the Kombo beach hotel with a group of students from my school. It was an amazing place, and the food is absolutely outstanding. I have never encountered such a place where the people are so friendly, despite the poverty they live in.

this hotel is fantastic, we only got back today & we are already looking to book for next year. the hotel staff are very friendly and there is always something going on to satisify all ages. the rooms are cleaned every day & kept to a good standard. the grounds of the hotel are well maintained & I could not think of any thing bad about this hotel. this hotel is a must for accomodation at the gambia.
