    The location is convenient away from the traffic of town yet easy to get around. The view was fantastic, the rooms and facilities were fantastic. The bar was a great place to relax, enjoy a bier and watch sporting events on a giant screen tv. The front desk staff was very helpful with advice on what to do and how to get there. Food was great !

    The Riessersee was the perfect place to end our day after being at the Zugspitze. The room with its balcony views of the snow capped mountains was relaxing and exciting at the same time.   • So worth it!

    The rooms are clean and cozy. Everything is conveniently located around the hotel. The pool and jacuzzi are awesome and a lot of fun! I was surprised to even find a meditation room. Room service is excellent and fast.

  • Stay there everytime in Garmisch.

    The hotel has great people working there. The location is excellent and the accomodations are superb. The lobby is great with the giant fireplace. The food is always the best. We have brought friends and family from the states here and they loved it.

    Wonderful Hotel on Riessersee where the ice skating champions were held in the 1937 Winter Olympics. Removed from the hub bub of Central Garmisch but super close with breathtaking views.

    Only flaw was I was unable to get an iron from the staff when I needed one.

    The hotel is situated on a mountain right next to a lake. You can easly travel anywhere in Garmisch from this hotel. The resturantant in this hotel is top notch. The food and serivce was excellent and rivals most 5 star resturnants in Germany. At first i thought the resurant would be like most in hotels, expensive and not good food. To my surpise ...

    Very nice game room with bar and HUGE tv for watching sports. Game room includes X-box and PS2 for the kids with a good selection of games. Internet in business center is free with printer (laser) hooked up and working. Internet in room was a broadband modem (not wireless) and the charge was $10/day.
