My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel. Yes the train whistle is in the background but after some day trips we were so tired we didnt notice. The staff helped us with trips to sedona , meter crator, wakapiti ruins, grand canyon and monument valley and even the nearest walmart for supplies. Yes we would stay here again . Clean, comfortable, and friendly.

My husband had surgery at the FMC so I was staying at the hotel alone for 3 nights. Felt very secure coming and going in daytime or night. Rooms very clean. Great breakfast meal started my day off right. Turn on the A/C unit to cover trains. Convenient for all amenities, groceries, resturants, freeway, and close to hospital.
My wife and I have stayed in many places in Flagstaff over the last 20 years, since it's my wife's family home. The Holiday Inn Express is by far the nicest we've stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable. The exercise room was good, heated pool and jacuzzi, with a good selection on the continental breakfast (open till 10 a.m.). ...

One of the best!

This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed at. THE most comfortable hotel bed I have ever experienced. The room was clean when we arrived and cleaned properly during our 4 day stay. The continental breakfast is good, and they don't run out of food if you sleep late. They have 2 computers for internet use right in the lobby. There ...
I wanted to write a review about this place not because I had a good or bad stay (this place is a 2.5/5 on my personal scale) but I felt that I paid too much for the room. I paid $165 for a room which I felt was worth about $80-100. In hindsight I felt that I probably should have just looked for the cheapest place around and saved myself some ...
This hotel was near everything we wanted to do in Flagstaff, and the train noise was not excessive. Several restaurants near by including Denny's and Crackerbarrel. Staff was courteous but the elevators took forever. Will stay here again.
I stayed here expecting to hike in the forests (closed because of fire hazards). I spent more time in the room than expected. It was quiet and peaceful--great linens and a nice breakfast. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a nice place for a reasonable amount. Jane
This is a nice hotel to stay at! Service was great! The prices are decent and the rooms are modern looking! There is a Dennys and convenient store within walking distance to the hotel.
This hotel in Flagstaff, or any hotel in Flagstaff on Lucky Lane is very close to the train tracks -- and the train travels frequently. While passing thru that area, and according to the Guest Services manual, there are earplugs available at the front desk! Not the place to stay, especially if you are a business traveler who needs rest.
