The location was great. Right on the ocean. We could not see the ocean from our room but we were just a short walk to the beach. We watched the sun rise nearly every morning. It was also nice having the gas BBQ grills available and picnic area near the swimming pool. Although parking was tight, the available parking at the neighboring mall made ...
Great location, nice hotel but residents in paradise can't be bothered with service.

The island is big so Kapaa is a good place to be. The market place is conveniently located and groceries are not far away. Since you'll want to visit sights in the north and in the south its nice to start no more than 50 miles away from anything.
The room had nice upgrades but was small. We booked and Ocean Front view and expected a 180 ...
We read other reviews and came here for the ocean front view room. They truly are, we are sitting about 100 feet from the ocean with a full room view of the water and an outside deck. The pool and spa are OK with BarBQs if you want to cook a steak, etc. There is no resturant or bar on the property. There are several resturants and bars within ...
After having already spent over seven weeks travelling around the UK, Canada & Ohau, I arrived at the Islander feeling slightly jaded but felt that I'd suddenly found heaven.
My 'garden view' room allowed me to see the lovely gardens as well as the palms swaying along the edge of the beach. And what a beach. Long, beautiful & never ...
Aloha ! My name is Peter , and I just stayed at the Islander on The Beach, and I must say the place is amazing. They just spent 10 million dollars in renevations , and the place for your money is the best. The rooms have marble flooring, granite countertops, flat screen TV , and much more. We stayed in the Maui building room 165 and the view was ...
Great place. Was a hotel, now a condo. Small kitchenette inside, and a great view of the beach. We stayed there for a week and loved it. All the contruction from the conversion is long done.
The Aston Islander in Kapaa has a great location about halfway between the extents of the island highway. The rooms have been recently remodeled with travertine floors & granite countertops. It felt nicely upscale for the price. Our "ocean view" room only had the view from the lanai and one corner of the room. We reserved a room with ...
This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I checked into the hotel early my room was not ready that was fine, so my son and I explored the area. When I returned we had our luggage, when I asked the guest relations attendant if a ramp was available to bring my luggage into the lobby, he looked at my like I was crazy and never ...
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The only thing I did not like about the room was the shower. If you like a fancy hotel then is not the place for you, but honestly who goes to Hawaii to spend all their time at the hotel?
