We have gone ton Hamlet motel for several years It is close to everything in town, offers clean accomidations, and a continental breakfast at Olson Bakery across the streeet. It's also across the street from the famous Paula's pancakes, where we eat often. Whether we book 2 rooms or 5, the family-owned motel gives great service with a smile!

I planned a one night stay in advance and had a verbal agreement with the mgr (Anthony) that he would waive the 2 night minimum price for me and only charge me for one night as it wouldn't be a problem as they had the room. I love this motel! Three friends and I stayed here to tour Solvang and were pleasantly surprised to find a warm, inviting, cute room with king and queen beds! The room was large, fridge worked great, and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Although small, I really liked the bathroom - it was different and fun! I will stay here every time I come to Solvang.

The rates are great able to stay longer because of lower rates. Rooms very clean. Staff very helpful. Great location easy walk to everything. We have been here 3 times and will be back.

This is an older quaint motel. Staff extremely friendly. No pool, has a nice little fridge and a good bakery across the street. Yes it is older, but isn't that was Solvang is all about?
