We had a suite and thought it was very nice...2 TVs, 2 queen beds, fireplace, heated floors in bathroom....The staff was friendly and prompt when we had a request. The location was off the beaten path but within walking distance to the grocery store, downtown Keystone, and several attractions. The kids really liked the pool and hot tub. The ...
We booked here because most of the other lodgings in Keystone were completely booked on July 3rd because of the fireworks at Mt. Rushmore. We found it better than we expected. The suite we had was only $219 p/n and was extremely spacious for three three of us. Everything was sparkling new. It had two TVs and the beds were comfy. The microwave ...
Rushmore Express was everything that we were wanting in our trip to South Dakota. The staff were very helpful. They allowed us to look at the rooms before deciding if we wanted to stay. The rooms were very clean and included a microwave and refrigerator. We stayed on the second level which had a balcony and at night we watched the deer across ...

It was a fairly nice stay

We liked the fact that the hotel was located off the beaten path and was quiet at night. We LOVED the pillow-top beds. They were SO comfortable.
For the price, though, we were disappointed there was no continental breakfast. The TV (as stated before) had very few channels than normal hotels. There was also no ironing board w/iron. Luckily I bring an iron with me anyway, so we ended up ironing on a towel on the bed.
The rates are not what are advertised. Our room was 110. per nite. There is no continentel breakfast as promised. The TV did not have HBO, actually it had very few channels and was only about 20 in..I wore just washed slippers and the bottoms were black after 3 days! Also had ants in the bathroom. Wouldn't stay there again for that price!

WOW! Worth it!

The suites are fantastic and the service was top-notch. I traveled with a choir of 35 high school students. Most hotels treat such groups as if they are doing you a favor to provide any rooms. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us and actually thought to put our rooms close to each other and away from other guests we might disturb. ...

We left our camera in our hotel room and didn't notice it until we were in Illinois. The staff at Rushmore Express found our camera, called us and mailed it to our home in California. This is something not many people would do and we are extremely greatful, not only is this hotel clean, friendly and in a beautiful location, it also has honest employees.
