Checked in and the lady at the desk was nice and fast at getting my information and a key to my room. I like staying upstairs since I am a very light sleeper. Got into the room and the A/C started right up and in no time the room was nice an cool (it was 95F outside at the time).

We have always stayed in Hampton Inns. This one does not deserve to be called a Hampton Inn. It does not match up to the level that every other one that we have stayed in has. Probably not again because all of the rooms are outside rooms. So you have to walk outside for breakfast, check out, etc. Hays is safe but it is close to the interstate and staying along could be scary.
