Ruined our TripI can say with certainty, that our stay at this hotel single handedly ruined our anniversary, stealing our celebratory experience forever. Although the photographs presented on the web-site showed an open and well lit room, we found the rooms to be both small and dark. NEWLY RENOVATED!!!WOW! THEY HAVE PUT IN NEW CARPET, NEW GRANITE COUNTER TOPS, NEW BED LINED,NEW MATTRESSES, PILLOWS, AND ADDED ITEMS TO THE BREAKFAST SINCE OUR LAST VISIT. Not Likely To Go Back!This hotel was nice and clean and very close to all the stuff in Gatlainburg. There were several good things about staying here and a few bad things. I do not want to go into details other than saying this Hotel is not worth 129.99 149.99/night. I expected alot more for my money. I would have been just as happy at Zoders for 80.00/night.

Already planning next tripWell we decided to go down a day before our reservations and they had no problem accomodating us a day early. The balcony facing the street is great especially to do people watching. They are right next to Calhoun's (which I recommend highly) and within a wonderful distance of all the shops. Best hotel in Gatlinburg!I have been to Gatlinburg several times, and this is by far my favorite hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious - we got the king suite with hot tub! The staff is amazing and the location cannot be beat - right next to the entrance of the park. I will definitely be back.3 of 3 Yahoo! Nice, but can hear drunksThe hotel itself was nice, but staying over the weekend we were disturbed by drunks on the Parkway whooping at the top of their lungs. nice hotelWe stayed in a standard 2 queen bed room with city view. Size of the room a little small, could not imagine 4 adults in the room being very comfortable. It was very clean, very nice decor, good mattresses, pillows a little flat. Great size refrigerator and television. Your USA newspaper is outside your door in the morning. Exciting pre-Christmas GetawayA wonderful time is what I expect each December when I visit your hotel. Everyone there is extremely welcoming and friendly!
This December, I will return to Clarion Inn for the 5th year in a row. It is my gift to myself. I return home renewed and ready for the holidays with my family.

Will make a return trip!This hotel is not only beautiful, it has the perfect location. My husband and I rented a two room suite with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace for our 15th anniversery. It was perfect. The hotel is in short walking distance to many restaurants. We didn't move our car the entire time. Although a bit pricey at $200 a night, it was well worth the money for our special occassion. We will definately stay here again.You have found this review helpful.4 of 4 Yahoo!
