absolutely disliked nothing about this place I would rather give my dollars to an individual mom & pop business than some corporation. Very clean rooms the owners keep this place in really good shape. It reminds me of the days when my parents took my brothers & me on vacation and we would stay in motels such as one like this. Great location and within a mile or so from the beach . I would definitely stay here again and again .

We don't travel much. I am a single mom w/ 2 kids. A friend told us Al and Sally's was close to a family party we were attending and it was cheap. The price was more than advertised. The Motel had a "Psycho" feel to it. Upon check-in we were greeted (after waiting about 10 minutes) by a "less than friendly" owner. ...

Wild goings on in the middle of the night. Head boards ets. moaning, and then some one pounding onour door at 2 am screaming to let them in.

The management worked well with special requests. In the heart of the Dunes so close to entertainment. Rooms were clean and economical. I go back at least once per year.

We stayed at this motel aalmost 20 years ago. We loved it. But the wonderful thing to see is that somethings do not go by the wayside and still are here for us. We are going to return soon. Over these many years we have often talked about our stay not only at this motel but in the area. Al & Sally's can't be beat for the value.

Great location if you have kids, or want to go to the Dunes' beaches. This is a down-to-earth family-run motel. If you want chain lodging amenities, don't go here. There are nice grounds for picnic, an adequate pool (but you want to be at the beach, anyway), and everything you need for a lake visit nearby.
We have been going there since 1992. There are some friends and family members I can send there, and other's I cannot.
