  • staying where unsavory people live

    Can't stand staying in a hotel that people actually live year round....I'm talking besides the owners. If you're going to be a hotel, you should not have people living there for longer than two weeks at a time.     We (3) stayed at the Scottish Inn during a recent motorcycyle trip to Skyline Drive and the Shenandoah Valley. Our rooms were clean and neat and the owners were very accommodating - even telling us to bring our bikes under the car port section (that is designated for the owners) during some inclement weather.
    Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Nice people. Clean rooms. Great value.
