I have stayed many times here with my Gov't work crew and have always been very well pleased. Top of the line hospitality and friendliness, spotless, fresh rooms. although smoking is allowed in all roomes, they clean them well and we have never noticed odor. For the 2008 season, they are considering making one of the buildings smoke free. The efficiencies are great, and you'll never find a more friendly or helpful staff.

We stayed at the Hatteras Marlin for 2 night.
I wish we had stayed all 5 days of our vacation here. The beds are so comfortable.
The rooms are clean beyond clean & the staff is like visiting family. We will stay here again.

The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was not overly big, but it was clean and nicely arranged. It was a standard double bed room upstairs. I would stay there again.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME AT THE OUTER BANKS.
WE HAVE ALWAYS GONE TO MYRTLE BEACH. WE WILL MAKE OUR FUTURE VACATIONS IN THE OUTER BANKS AT THE HATTERAS MARLIN MOTEL.
IT WAS WONDERFUL. QUITE AND PEACEFUL. THE MOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN. THEY CAME EVERY MORNING AND CLEANED THE ROOM AND PUT CLEAN SHEETS ON THE BED AND BROUGHT CLEAN TOWELS.

the service was great considering it was a holiday weekend...very clean...beautiful pool..nice amenities..overall wonderful experience! would highly recommend! will go back! perfect location...just a mile from the ferry to ocrakroke isle..and the beach!

we. have been going to the marlin for 35 years. We have always stayed in the large efficiency and love it, we started going when our kids were little and now we go and take kids and grandkids. We go every memorial day weekend.

We lucked out with this place. Very nice for a reasonable cost. Not close to ocean but a short drive to it. Rooms were nice and cool in hot weather.

Was suprised how little there it to do on Hatteras but that's not the hotel's fault. Went to Ocracoke and Hatteras lighthouse but there wasn't that much to do.

Overall experience at hotel was very good.

We have stayed here 4 times and will keep coming back. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are clean, and it's within walking distance to the Marinas/shops.

My recent stay was made more pleasureable by staying at the Hatteras Marlin Motel. It was lovely. Close to everything! I am looking forward to a return visit! The rooms were clean and very pleasing....
