As trip planner for myself and two childhood friends that visit the nc mountains each year, i happened upon this gem while doing a lodging search for the W. Jefferson area in 2005. What we liked best was the staff,value, and mostly how nice and peaceful it was. The t.v. reception is the only downside,but that doesn't stop us from staying at the Vista anytime we are in the area.

We stayed at the Motel for one night on a department motorcycle ride. The location is great and the owner was wonderful. They even dryed our wet clothes for us. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is only one channel on the TV though. We still liked the place and will return. There is a restaurant there too. We didn't eat there, but it looked nice. It was raining when we pulled in and they gave us hot coffee. Very nice people.

The original owners are back. The food is great, the rooms are clean and the price is reasonable. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is really perfect for bikers everything that most bikers would require. A soft bed,hot shower,clean room. They go out of their way to make you happy. The owner is also a biker.

Motorcycles are welcome thank you. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times, The staff are very friendly and country folk and I like that a lot. Very good suppers and breakfasts. I plan to go back every chance I get. We travel the Parkway a lot and we plan on being close to the Park Vista every night.

We stay here 4 or 5 times a year from Spring until Fall. The staff is great, food is great, accomodations are clean and affordable. We can't wait to get back........2TOGO.

We love Park Vista. We have been staying there for years for vacation.
A place that everyone knows you by your first name, country cooking, clean rooms, a picnic table, trail over the mountain & best of all it is right on the Parkway & close to the New River. We will go there as long as the Vista is there.

On our way to Virginia we had made reservations and boy were we glad to find this little Gem right of the Parkway. The rooms were clean and beds were soft and food was GREAT! And the service and price was just right too. This would make a nice get away place for a day or two.

My husband and I have been married 14 years and we spend our anniversary at the Park Vita in October. We have been going for the past 12 years. Looking forward for this anniversary. Biker friendly, clean rooms, right on the parkway, country restrant at same location.
No phone in room, 3 channels on TV.
In all a very nice place to stay on the parkway.
We will be back.
