My husband & I took our children here whhen they were6&8 and thru their teen years with their freinds. We now bring our granddaughter. We have stayed at other hotels/motels on Lake George, however we always go back to Surfside.

What i liked about this place is the kids can enjoy it because of the location on the strip where all of the arcades and beaches are.

it was pretty nice, that best place that we have stayed at so far. The only bad thing was that the cielings were too thin. The people above us had small children and they were quite early in the morning. Also, my parents bed was extremely unconfortable. Some good things were we had a beautiful lake view, clean rooms, nice pool, nice lake area. Was very close to the town. I would recommend this place.

I like the place,but it is so strssful when you can't sleep at night because of the noice,made by drunk boys and girls.You have to do something about this.

We needed 2 inexpensive rooms for a short vacation in May, 2005. The motel is older and our rooms were small, but it's what we expected. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and we were in walking distance to the "Downtown" tourist area in addition to having lake access and a large, clean pool. We got our money's worth.
