The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. My kids enjoyed the pool. Very close to town. Very nice motel, and a good price for the room, too. I would definately recommend it to my friends. Plan to come back again soon.

My family and I stayed here in august 2008 and fell in love with it. the best things were the clean rooms, the service, and the heated pool. Because it isn't one of the known name motels I feel it was able to give us a more personal touch. The cleaning lady that we had, I think her name was Anastasia, was as good as they come. The place is great. I have been a returning customer for 6 years and it always has been a pleasure. Once we had a small room but still all was good. It has changed ownership at leasat 3 times and last summer of 2006 we had a great time and the children made friends there. Every year there has been improvements made in the rooms I cannot wait to get there this year!
ps....The private beach down the street is also a great asset to the motel.

Our family has been going up to Lake George many years always staying at the Lake Haven. The service is great as ar ethe rooms.

I have been staying at Lake Haven for the past two years for Americade weekend. We love it and are looking forward to returning again this year. I don't know why people say it was aweful- I know they have done some renovations in the last few years. The rooms are very nice and roomy for 4 people and the pool is a def. bonus (as long as it isn't 50 degrees and raining like last year when we went). Def. worth the money...

our room was small but was clean..and just a short walk to the lake...we were there in september so it was a slow time not many tourists..price was right...too cool for the pool but the flowers and area was very well kept ...management was friendly and helpful....its a pet friendly motel we had our dog with us...easy walk to downtown lake ...

it was gorgeus lovely but u should go yourself i loved it but u might not love it as much as me but u will love it its great and fun you would have a blast so hurry up and go every year so have fun and go to the best place ever its like heaven no better way better -jelly

the rooms were on the old side but clean and neat pool was great staff was friendly and welcoming after a terrrible stay in lake placid they welcomed us as friends including our dog . do need some work on the rooms decor but you won't notice it when you are asleep staff made us coffe on request and if we needed anything they got it to us quickly

NEW OWNERS SEEMED TO PREDICT RENOVATIONS THAT WOULD BE QUITE AN IMPROVEMENT TO WHAT IS ALREADY A VERY ACCEPTABLE ACCOMODATION.I' M SORRY THAT I DID NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS LAST YWEAR WHEN WE LEFT.THE ROOM RATES WERE VERY GOOD AND I DON'T WHAT SOME PEOPLE EXPECT FOR THEIR DOLLAR. GOOD LUCK TO THE OWNERS IN THEIR VENTURE.
