This place was just totally unacceptable. We were a family of 2 adults and 3 small children, we were greeted nicely and then when we made our way to our room it was horrible. The door looked like it had been broken into - upon opening the door we were greeted by a sign that said, WE HAVE AN ANT PROBLEM!!!

What a great family, family owned and operated. We checked in for 2 days and ended up staying 5 nights. Grear food, really busy with tour groups, but enough room for everybody. $115.00 including buffet breakfast. Rooms were good size and very clean. Mineral pool was magic after a busy day sight seeing. We really enjoyed our time in Rotorua with the Meichtry family. Highly recommend.

This was hands down one of the dirtiest motels that I had ever been to. Layers on dust on the bathroom fixtures, place reeked of cigarette smoke. Locks that did not work properly; worn, tired carpets. Could not wait to check out and I was afraid to try the restaurant!
