On holiday from Scotland - our KL friends took us to an old colonial bungalow on the hillside above the town. What a fantastic four days! OK - the bungalow had seen better days and was a bit musty - but it was QUAINT. Oh, and we did have a centipede (200mm long and as thick as my thumb) wandered into the bathroom from under the badly fitting back ...

MOST bungalows in Frasers Hill are not looked after. They are just renting them without cleaning them and they are FILTY and their pillows and bedsheets are smelly. Bathrooms has either cockroaches or spiders.

The TOURISM of MALAYSIA is not doing anything either to help improve that place. Nothing. I have been there also last year 2005 and gosh - even the restaurants are so mediocre. Restaurants are pretty bad.

The bungalow is really old and basic. If you like the rustic old world colonial charm - without the frills of modern day resorts. This is the place for you.

If you want more - look for a pricier alternative...

We had a lot of fun as we were left alone for most of the time there.
