To be very frank with you it's OK. Everything is absolutely fine... No course to complain. I'm proposing another trip to Freetown, and ofcourse my stop's gonna be Mammy Yoko... I like this place.

Consider the alternative
By CC Verlander, 10/14/07
I guess what pefor this area. People don't understand is that there are not many alternatives to this hotel . Seriously, the country is poor and the expectations of a paradise hotel in Sierra Leone is probably a little far fetched. Relative to the area it is a four or five star hotel. Compared to a similar hotel in the west it is sub ...

The best vacation spot in Africa
By abdulrahmansmagbakamara, 07/17/07
Mammy Yoko is a fine place to stay, its located in the Aberdeen district of Freetown. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Lumley beach with its golden white sand and pounding water waves, one of the finest if not the finest beaches in Africa. There are regular connecting services from an helicopter service located nearby the hotel connecting ...

By A Yahoo! Contributer, 05/14/07
With the nation emerging from war. This hotel is nothing I was expecting of that country. The servise is excellent and workers are the friendliest. The ocean view is very romantic. Its only a few yards from the beach and the people in that counrty are amazing. I love it! Ilove it! I love it!!!!!!!! I want to go back as soon as possible.

Co-located with the headquarters for the UN mission in Sierra Leone, the Mammy Yoko is a fine place to stay in Freetown. In the Aberdeen district of Freetown, the hotel is within easy walking distance of pleasant Lumley Beach and adjacent to the Freetown heliport. Paramount Airlines provides regular connecting service to flights at Lungi airport ...

Mamy YOKO
By taymouth_98, 03/31/04
I stayed In Mamy yoko for 10 days last christmas: It was horible. I was completely dissapointed; The Beds were very hard: The TV had CNN & the rest of the Channels were in Chinese. The Housekeeping was Excellent: Breakfast was poor. Mangement ZERO.
I will not stay rthere anymore and will not recommend it to anyone.
