Cyprus is a lovely country and generally has a high standard of hotels, however the Golden Bay is not at all of a high standard. Rooms are falling apart, towels has holes on them, there was absolutely nothing to differentiate it as a 5 star hotel.
The staff were uncaring and unprofessional and the management non existent.
Stay away from this hotel, the Sandy Beach hotel next door is much nicer and should be 5 stars!!!

I loved the grand suite-the jacuzzi was great! It was my husband's birthday and they brought us a cake and a champagne-for free! They were very friendly. We ordered food and it was delicious. Very good prices. I loved the breakfast. We had a wonderful sea view! Everything was very clean. Very good room service!
