Hotel Slon is located in the middle of downtown next to local shops, bars and clubs. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The location is excellent, staff very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was big, comfortable and very clean.And just to inform the person who wrote a review before - yes, Slon means an elephant in Slovenian language. And the staff will always be ready to tell you the story where the name come from.

We stayed at hotel Slon for one night and wished we could have stayed forever. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with marble floors. The tub was perfect for a long hot bath after a long day of sightseeing. The buffet breakfast included very good food and the staff were friendly and helpful despite our lack of knowledge of the Slovene language.
