The rooms are big but very old fashioned! The bothrooms are very small and the elevators could not fit more than two people. The people were really nice and that's the only good thing about it!
It really needs some renovations to be a 4 or five star hotel.

I stayed at the Ritz fro three nights. The room was small, but comfortable. The best feature is that it is close to all of the major attractions. It is not a four star hotel for sure.

I'm often in Florence (for business reasons) and I like to stay in the RITZ because it is easy to reach and there is no Parking problem and at the same time you can walk into the historic center in 5 minutes (Santa Croce is only 2 minutes distance).

Very friendly and helpful service. Confortable sunny room with very nice view. Very good A/C. Good location for visiting by foot.
Price was very convenient for the stay.
I recommended it several times to my friends.

The place has a very nice view on the Arno
but between the hotel and the Arno is a
road which produces horrible amount of noise.
The rooms are rather old fashioned as well
as the bathrooms.
