The grounds and the building were stunning, however let down by cleanliness. On arrival we had to change rooms as our original one was not cleaned properly bathroom in a very unpleasent state, second room was not much better, towels were forgotten and we had to remake bed as quilt not on properly, we were unable to get internet access in our room ...

I spent 2 nights here on Business and what a great hotel.
Very nice location in the countryside, supurb 17th centry biulding with new rooms built on the back, and a supurb Spa with fully equipt gym, pool, sauna and stream room.
The staff could not be more helpful and cheerful.
The two meals I had here were two of the best I have had in a UK ...
