THIS WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.
I WAS THERE FOR TWO DAYS AND PAID GB POUND 80 PER NIGHT , IT WAS NOT WORSTED EVEN EGIHT SINGLE POUND.
COULD NOT TAKE SHOWER AS NO WATER PRESSURE, POOR T.V. RECIEPTION , POOR STANDARD OF ACCOMUDATION , ETC. WILL NEVER TRY THIS HOTEL ANY MORE AS ANY BED AND BREAKFAST IS BETTER THAN THIS JUNK CALLED HOTEL......?!

The Queens is a budget hotel and looks typical of Gibraltar (old and tired). But the staff are all helpful and friendly, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. i was there for two days and i was sick of the staff. The TV in my room had only 10 channels and the one on the adjacent room 25 channels(any way i was not there to watch Tv).many of the staff there are algerian muslims who talk in spanish in front of english speakers and in broken english or fluent algerian in front of spanish speakers.

Liked the location and the service was friendly, albeit a little unprofessional in the breakfast room and the receptionists (men) were creepy.

Did not like the offer of one set breakfast (eggs, bacon, white toast and a tomato)or the red ants in the bath

the service we recieved by all the staff was brill from breakfast to evening meal to leaveing in the morning touring the rock and our return at night we were met with a smile Our rooms were cleaned every day nothing was missed by our cleaner The rooms were comfortable The location was spot on for everything cable car, bus and the main street My husband, myself and my son enjoyed 4 nights and will book again.

This is the worst Hotel it has ever been my misfortune to stay at , especially for GBPounds 95 per night. we did not eat there as we saw roaches the first day and my son slept in our room the last night as there were roaches in his room, I says recently refurbished, WW2 was recent then. We only remained as we could not find vacancies anywhere else.

PROS:
* Great views - especially Room 65 on top (4th) floor with two balconies & view in three directions
* Location near the cable car
* Free parking in front of the hotel (though we were here off-season in February and lot seemed crowded at all times, so parking in high season might be a problem)
* Pleasant staff
