We decided to get off the Autobahn earlier than planned, due to a very severe rainstorm. Lucky! That forced us into the village Avallon, where we found refuge at the Hostellerie De La Poste. We were thrilled, and plan to return again in May '08. Although more expensive than we expected, it was a pleasant and rewarding stop. It was comfortable, pleasant, very clean and so quaint. We loved it! We cannot wait to get back!
