Perfect location - only option if you want to stay AT Macchu Pichu and not 30 minutes below at Agua Calientes. Courteous well trained staff, good food. Very pricy but worth it for a once in lifetime experience
Fantastic location for sunrise and sunset! We took an evening tour of Machu Picchu with no other people around..fantastic! Very helpful staff. Great food, with local flavor.

I got into the ruins at 5.30am by staying at this hotel. I therefore had 1 hour on my own watching the sun rise before the hordes arrived on the buses(at 6.30am). It was completely amazing. If you are not going to trek the Inca trail then book into this hotel to get an early start.

The hotel is directly outside the entrance to Machu Picchu. However, this means that it is a half hour bus ride to the town of Aguas Caliente.
