I'v visited this hotel before and loved it, perfect location, friendly staff, nice clean rooms and good food.

I was shocked on my second time to find guest smoking drugs at bar and bar the pool. Bar closed at 10pm and not 10:30pm like they said and they kept running out of drinks. Found hair in my food and the staff was rude.

I honestly believe us trinis fuss too much !!. We went to the Tropikist without a reservation and we were warmly received, we really cant fault them, excellent location, friendly people..to the woman who was complaining about rates, you get different rates for all hotels around its a sales gimmick!! get real.!!!

Ok..lets begin..location....excellent !! you cant fault them, the hotel is on excellent location, loved it..the room was nice, we was in a standard room (room 87) pretty spacious, very sparsily decorated, but ok, we only used it to sleep. The balcony has a nice view of the grounds and the ocean..the washroom needs to be properly vented.

We stayed at the tropikist for the carnival period and truly loved it, the hotel is nice and quaint, lovely settings, lovely people, great food, what more can you ask for? Mr. Sammmy or uncle sam as he is called is a really nice guy, a trini he is. good job tropikist..
