Just got back from my honeymoon where we stayed at the Bell Channel and it has quickly become one of my favorite hotels! The staff is professional and incredibly personable, the location is convenient to anything you could want (the staff will make sure you get where you want and have the experience you want), the rooms are basic but comfortable ...

People make all the difference!

My wife and I found the Bell Channel Inn to be very clean. The food was good with proportions generous. Overall service was very good and attitudes were great. The highlight of the hotel was, of course, Genie! She is very impressionable, likable, and funny as hell! I recommend this establishment. (Providing you aren't expecting a five star Ritz-Carlton enviroment) Steve & Robbyn Spears Cape Coral, Fl.
Hotel's restaurant food is great. The staff are very nice. The room is very big, but the only thing missing was a microwave. The taxes on the hotel and the mosquitos are the only things I disliked about the hotel. Not too fancy, but good if you want something cheap and clean. Similar to a Red Roof Inn or a Super 8.

Don't Need Frills...Stay at the Bell Channel Inn!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/07
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All the other reviews are correct...there's no "extra" frills..its just like the motel 6 in the states. BUT, it was always clean, the maid service was excellent, food & drinks were great, front desk was always friendly. I truly felt at home at the Bell Channel. Everything is walking distance ...

A nice surprise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/07
At first I thought the Inn was a little "rough"...frayed rugs caught my eye but it was also clean and daily maid service was good. The room was large and comfortable and the view of Lucayan Bay from the balcony was really pleasant. Best surprise was the small neat bar and dining room and good food that we thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone was ...

Enjoy the Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/06
Enjoy the stay and it's not really to far from the shopping centers. The View was very nice of the town and Channel. Jeanne helped us plan trips around the Bahamas and included taking us there and picking us up. Also they just watched out for us all together when we where at there hotel. They Even help 2 girls with a lost purse before they had to be back on the Cruise Line.
Thanks Alot, Dayna Pickett

The Price Is Right

I really enjoyed my stay in this little hotel. I wasn't all flashy and congested and didn't have a beach...but it had a really good feel to it. I was able to stand in on my balcony and see the lights and hear some of the sounds of the Luycaya Marina. I had everything I needed in my room...of course I always take coffee, tea, snacks, etc. ...
The Bell Channel Inn is a lovely little hotel nestled right in the center of Freeport, Grand bahama Island. With very affordable rates, clean rooms, and even a restaraunt upstairs, it is hard for the "budgeting traveler" to say no to this place! All rooms at the bell channel directly face the sparkling turquoise waters of a small ...
The Bell Channel Inn was probably the cheapest place to stay that was near Freeport. The hotel is a bit older and not for someone who likes to stay at the hotel a lot. If you're looking for just a place to sleep and store your stuff this place is the best for the money. If you are looking for a classier hotel this is not for you. The people ...
